Collections page
The grid behind your /collections page — every collection in the store, listed automatically.
What it’s for. Giving shoppers one place to browse all your categories: Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana, sealed, singles, supplies. It pulls in every collection on its own, so a new collection shows up here the moment you make it.
When to use it. On the /collections page only. That’s different from Collection list, a row of collections you hand-pick for the homepage, and from Collection, which shows the products inside one category.
Ways to use it
- Wide wall — 4 or 5 columns with product counts on, so people see how deep each category runs.
- Calmer layout — 3 columns for a shorter list of collections.
- Hide the catch-all — keep the auto-generated “all” collection out so it doesn’t sit next to your real categories.
Tips
- It lists every collection automatically. To drop one, just unpublish it in Shopify admin.
- Cards use the standard TCG card shape. Set a featured image per collection, or you get a placeholder.
- Columns collapse on smaller screens: down to 3, then 2, then a single column on phones.
