Event details

The full landing page for a single event — hero, the key facts, and a way to register.

What it’s for. Showing one event’s page. Everything on it — the banner image, name, date and time, location, game and format, description, prizes — is pulled straight from that event’s metaobject entry. If a ticket product is linked, it also shows the price, spots left, and a register button that adds the ticket to the cart.

When to use it. It lives on the Event metaobject template, so every event entry gets this page automatically. You won’t add it to a page by hand.

Ways to use it

  • Friday Night Magic — date, “In-store,” format “Standard,” a $10 ticket product for registration.
  • Free casual league — fill in the details, skip the ticket product, and it tells people to register in-store.

Tips

  • To change the content, edit the event entry, not this section.
  • Registration and “Sold out” both come from the linked ticket product’s inventory — capacity is its stock.
  • Past events flip to a “past” badge automatically once the event date passes.
  • Empty fields just disappear — no location, no location row.
