Popup
A box that slides over the page to grab attention, with an image, a message, and an email signup or button.
What it’s for. Catching someone before they leave with one focused ask: join your list, see an announcement, grab a first-order discount. It’s off until you turn it on, and shows on one section per store.
When to use it. Sparingly. Pick a trigger: after a few seconds on the page, when someone scrolls partway down, when their mouse heads for the back button, or on a click. Aim it at all pages, the homepage, collections, products, or specific URLs.
Ways to use it
- Restock alerts — image of the set, “Get notified when singles drop,” email signup. New subscribers get tagged
newsletter. - Preorder announcement — a “Shop preorders” button and a countdown to the release date.
- First-order discount — “Get 10% off,” email field, on the homepage only.
Tips
- Leave show once on so returning customers aren’t nagged; it stays gone for the number of days you set (default 7).
- The email option feeds your customer list directly. Switch the content type to button or none if you’d rather link out or just make an announcement.
- Press Escape or click outside to close.
