Featured collection
A heading and a row of product cards pulled from one collection you pick.
What it’s for. Putting a slice of a collection on your homepage (or any page) without sending people away to browse. Good for “New singles in stock,” “This week’s sealed,” or a featured game. The cards show price, image, and any TCG controls you turn on.
When to use it. Reach for this when you want a tidy block of products tied to a collection. Use Grid layout for a clean wall of cards; switch the Layout to Carousel for a scrolling row with arrows, or Grid (carousel on mobile) to keep the grid on desktop but let phones swipe.
Ways to use it
- New arrivals wall — Grid, 4 columns, point it at your “New singles” collection, leave the top-right and bottom “View all” links on so people can jump to the full list.
- Sealed spotlight — Carousel layout with auto-rotate on, a handful of booster boxes scrolling on their own.
- Quick-buy singles — turn on condition swatches and quick add so shoppers pick NM/LP/MP and add to cart right from the card. Add the playset button and a customer grabs all four at once.
- Clean hover cards — turn on overlay mode so swatches and buttons sit on the card image and only appear on hover.
Tips
- Products to show caps at 12, so this is a teaser, not the whole collection. Send people to everything with the View all links.
- Desktop columns and mobile columns are separate. Dense counts (6 or 8) step down on tablets so cards stay readable; a 4-column grid drops to 3.
- Swatches, quick add, playset, and overlay are off by default. They only do something on products with condition/finish variants.
- The playset button is singles-only and only shows when that variant has enough copies in stock (playset size comes from your theme settings — usually 4, or 3 for Yu-Gi-Oh! and Flesh and Blood).
- Auto-rotate only applies to the full Carousel layout, and it pauses when someone hovers or tabs into it.
- No collection picked? The section shows a short placeholder instead of cards.
